Tai Chi has been around for some 700 years according to the first tales and stories from around that time but actual records shown start around 400 years ago, the point being that Tai Chi and its benefits as a Health Practice and a Martial Art are no stranger yet we in the western world are only just discovering it and taking on board the reality of this amazing activity and we will continue to discover its unsung capabilities for many years to come.
Tai Chi Chuan (literal translation “Supreme Ultimate Fist”) is an internal Chinese martial art often practiced for health reasons and typically identified by westerners as the slow motion routines that groups of people practice together every morning in parks around the world, particularly in China.

Tai Chi is characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements that emphasize force, rather than brute strength, relaxation rather than tension; the movements are executed precisely and are often referred to as meditation in motion as well as being one of the best forms of improving kinetic movement.

Master Justin Dodd

The Coach for this seminar is Master Justin Dodd 6th Dan a practioner of the Martial Arts for over 30 years in Chinese Kickboxing, Ju Jitsu & Tai Chi Justin has trained with the likes of Professor Chee Soo, Grand Master Tony Dodd 9th Dan, Shizuya Sato Nihon Jujutsu Hanshi 10th Dan, Master Steve Arneil 9th Dan, Glenford Dinnal-Allen 6th Dan to name but a few.

Master Dodd brings with him a wealth of knowledge not only from a martial arts perspective but as a sports and fitness coach with 20 years experience enabling him to provide a unique and laymen’s terms approach to his clients and his students.
